I give this Tutoring class 5 stars as I found Alan at lightbulb academy tutoring last year to help my daughter with Nat5 English. This class helped my daughter with her confidence with English and the rest of her subjects and my daughter achieved an A in most subjects and I believe it’s down to the hard work she put in and the extra help Alan provided. We are returning this year for the higher tutorial class. I Definitely Recommend this class for anyone looking to get help for they’re children to achieve they’re full potential with help from Alan he’s a lovely Teacher and my girl really enjoyed the classes.

My son attended the Higher English tutoring sessions at the Lightbulb Academy this year and has really benefited from studying in a small group and receiving tailored feedback from an experienced teacher. He is so much more focused and confident going into his exam as a result. Great value for money! Highly recommend!

A very good tutor! Help each student with different needs. Explain things in different way and make sure they understand. Do a lots of activities to make students enjoy learning. Try him if you really struggle with English, he'll definitely help! Thank you Allan!

Mr Wilson is an excellent tutor. He explains things clearly and always meets children at their level so they really understand the work. My son, who is in S3, enjoys his lessons and has been making great progress. His recent parents’ consultation was very positive, and we can clearly see the difference Alan’s support has made. Mr Wilson also helped my older son in the past, who is now in university after achieving strong grades. We’re genuinely grateful for his guidance and highly recommend him.

Great at tutoring, helps with every aspect of subject. Instantly identifies weaknesses and within days gets to work to destroy them, until it becomes your strongest suit. Explains normally confusing tooics and difficult exams and breaks them down and makes it simple to understand. Great to speak to as well and always goes above and beyond with every session whether it’s English RUAE practise, book recommendations or life-changing advice - he never fails to hit the nail on the target.
